Most Government departments including those responsible for delivering major UK infrastructure projects require that suppliers and contractors operate to an appropriate equality and diversity framework.

Yet, until the introduction of the CITB Be Fair Framework in 2014 there were no established standards of equality and diversity anywhere across the construction sector.

The Be Fair framework provides a structured approach that helps businesses across the construction sector develop Fairness, Inclusion and Respect, supporting employees and businesses.

Highwire are proud to have played an active role in setting up, specifying and piloting the Be Fair framework and we are currently (May 2016) the smallest company to be accredited sitting along side major industry players such as:

  • Lend Lease Development – Elephant & Castle
  • Morgan Sindall plc – London
  • Mitie Property Services (UK) Ltd
